| MEET DR. DEROIN |
Dr. Deroin focuses on the patient
and each person’s individual needs. In addition to providing a healing
atmosphere, an emphasis is placed on patient education as to the nature of their
disease as well as individualized wellness programs. Therefore, naturopathic
physicians spend a considerable amount of time with their patients in order to
know the nature of the disease so that the best treatments to administer can be
determined.
SNM&HC was founded by Cheryl M. Deroin, NMD in 2004. Dr. Deroin has a wide variety of treatment options that include an array of medicine and modalities such as homeopathy, acupuncture, nutrition, botanical medicine and minor surgery to name a few.
Cheryl M. Deroin, NMD graduated with a B.A. in education and certification in special education from Boise State University in 1981. She graduated from National College of Naturopathic Medicine in 1995. Dr. Deroin was in private practice in Vancouver, WA for five years before moving to Arizona to join the faculty at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine & Health Sciences, as the Department Chair of Clinical Nutrition where she also continued her private practice.
Dr. Deroin has received extensive training from the German Medical Society for Ozone Application in oxidative therapies to include ozone therapy, hydrogen peroxide, chelation and ultra violet blood irradiation. She is also certified in esogetic color puncture. Dr. Deroin is a primary care physician with an emphasis on chronic illness and endocrine imbalances who uses many therapies including nutrition, botanicals, homeopathy, hydrotherapy, color and light therapy. |
